Additional Paid Sessions

We now offer parents the flexibility to buy additional sessions for their child, in addition to their funded hours.  The additional sessions remain within the standard school day which is 8.30 am to 3.30 pm.  Sessions available to purchase are:

Morning session - 8.30 am to 11.30 am (3 hours)

Afternoon session - 12.30 pm to 3.30 pm (3hours)

Full day session - 8.30 am to 3.30 pm (7 hours)

How much do these additional sessions cost?

The cost of any additional sessions purchased will be £6.50 per hour with effect from 1 September 2023.  The charge will be reviewed annually and any changes will take effect from 1st September each year.

Any remaining funded hours from your child's universal or extended entitlement will be taken into account when calculating the monthly invoices.  For example, if your child attends two full days each week (14 hours) and you decide you would like them to attend an additional three-hour morning session, we would claim your one remaining funded hour and then you would just pay for two hours £13.00.

Payment will be required by the end of the preceding month that the sessions are due to be taken.
